Spring has sprung at the Hill home. Finally, warm weather and now the boys can spend more time outside burning off lots of energy. (Yea for me!!) Speaking of burning, we burned some old papers and last year's plants in our garden. I will have to keep my eye on Peyton because he was very excited about the fire - to the point that I was calling him Mr. Pyro.

I realized this week that not only is food storage practical, but it can be entertaining!

As Peyton was putting the cookies on the cookie sheets, he said, "this is a lot of work." I just looked at him and said "Yes it is." I could have gone on and on about all the work a mother does, but I just left it at that and hoped that someday he will realized how much work a mother does do!!
Cannon enjoyed more cookie dough than cookies.
He's in the weird smiling stage! :)

Cannon has found a new interest in puzzles. He absolutely loves them. He, as I said before, is so patient at tedious things. I also noticed that he was very visual and could easily see where the pieces go. I'm thinking that kids now-a-days can thank "Dora" and "Ni Hoa, Ki Lan" for their smarts. When I was a kids we watched Tom and Jerry beating up on each other and little blue Smurfs. I'm lucky that I turned out semi normal!

My Grandpa is going in for surgery tomorrow. Many thoughts and prayers have been with him and my Grandma. I was at the temple Saturday and they had been on my mind all morning. I later found out that they were in the ER that day admitting my Grandpa to have his hip fixed. XOXOX's!
